Special needs

We can't wait to meet you!

Our mission

Our mission

We believe every person is created in the image of God and is deeply loved, fully known, made for community, and belongs in the body of Christ.

You and your family are not guests here; you are part of our church family. Through intentional planning, thoughtful preparation, and accessible resources, we seek to create meaningful, inclusive support for individuals with special needs and their families.

Our mission is to ensure that every person has access to community, discipleship, growth, and worship—because every individual matters, and we are better together.

every family is welcome

every family is welcome

We warmly invite families of children with all needs and abilities to be part of our church community. Whether your child has physical, cognitive, behavioral, sensory, emotional, or trauma-safe needs, we want you to know there is a place for your family here. Our desire is to create a safe, supportive, and joy-filled environment where every child is valued, every family is encouraged, and everyone can experience the love of Christ just as they are. We believe the Gospel is for everyone, and invite your family to come and find rest, community, and belonging.

To help us better support and connect with your child and family, we invite you to fill out the child profile form below. We would be honored to walk alongside you and learn how we can best help your child thrive here at Front Range!

weekend experiences

We'd love for you to join us for any of our Front Range weekend services on Sunday at 8, 9:30, and 11am. Special needs ministry is offered at all service times.

family mentorship

family mentorship

If you're a parent of a child with a disability or special needs: Please hear this—you don't have to do this alone. God has placed people in the body of Christ who can walk with you, pray with you, and remind you of His faithfulness when you're weary. We have a group of parents who have lived the path God has placed you on, and want to come alongside you to provide a helping hand. Whether you are navigating a new diagnosis, seeking services, or just need a shoulder to lean on, we want to link you up. Connection creates belonging, and you and your family belong and are wanted in community—it can start with a text, a conversation over coffee, someone to help you advocate for your child, or someone simply sitting beside you in worship.

special events

special events

We love to celebrate you and your family! We host family events to help parents, caregivers, and kids build community, special holiday events to provide inclusive fun for children, teens, and adults with special needs and disabilities, our annual Special Egg Hunt, and look forward to hosting our very first Night to Shine in 2027!

special needs & sensory rooms

We offer two dedicated, specialized environments designed to meet your child’s unique needs—providing safety, comfort, joy, and meaningful engagement. In each space, we share the Gospel and the love of Jesus in ways that are accessible and personal to every child.

Our environments include specialized equipment to support physical needs, sensory-friendly materials to engage a wide range of abilities, and calming spaces to help children regulate and feel at ease. We also provide adaptive communication tools and Bible learning experiences that align with our kids ministry.

We know every child is different, so we partner closely with families to understand what helps your child thrive. Our trained team is here to support, adapt, and create a place where your child is not only cared for—but truly known, valued, and loved.

universal access

In addition to our specialized environments, we intentionally design all of our kids’ spaces to support a wide range of needs. Many children benefit from simple, thoughtful adaptations, and we want every environment to feel welcoming, comfortable, and engaging.

Across our classrooms, you’ll find supports like fidget tools, flexible seating options, visual schedules, and social stories—helping children stay engaged, understand what to expect, and feel more at ease.

Children with special needs and disabilities are welcome and belong in ALL of our spaces at Front Range. We will work with your family to provide the best experience possible for your child, and we have peer, teen, and adult buddies who can partner with your child in our typical classrooms. We are committed to creating environments where every child feels confident, included, and able to fully experience all that God has for them in our community.

teens and adults

Our Sunday rooms are open to children and teens of all ages, and we welcome adults with special needs and abilities to join us as well. We are all kids at heart! We create space for each person to be supported, build relationships, and participate in ways that fit their needs and gifts.

Whether they are in our environments receiving care, connecting with others, or serving alongside our serve teams, our desire is for every individual to be seen, included, and valued. We invite adults to serve with us in many areas at church, and can provide support that helps them have a great time and extend warm smiles and serve others! We also invite teens with special needs to join us at Custom Student Ministry on Wednesday nights! We provide a community group, and offer flexible support to help teens engage with their peers throughout hangout time, worship, messages, and group time.

We believe your child and family member is not only welcome here—they belong here.
