Front Range Church is honored to host our very first Night to Shine this February! Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 18 and older.

Guests will be welcomed like royalty as they walk the red carpet to cheering crowds and friendly paparazzi, then enjoy an unforgettable evening filled with hair and makeup, shoe shining, limo rides, corsages and boutonnieres, karaoke, dancing, and more.

The highlight of the night comes when every guest is crowned king or queen of the prom — celebrating their incredible worth and reminding each person that they are deeply loved, valued, and created in the image of God.

This complimentary evening is more than a prom — it’s a celebration of belonging, joy, and the love of Jesus.

FAQ

Night to Shine is an incredible, worldwide celebration of individuals who are directly impacted by disabilities, who are 14 years of age and older. It is a prom-like experience, which highlights God's love, and crowns each individual as royalty in His eyes.

Registration for volunteers will begin on October 10th, and registration for honored guests begins on November 10th.

Yes! Night to Shine is an amazing evening and it starts off with a dinner served to our Kings and Queens by our volunteers. If the dinner element of the evening is not appropriate for the individual, that is ok! The night is filled with dancing, fun, photos, limo rides and karaoke. The night ends with a crowning ceremony, they will receive a crown or tiara that is theirs to keep.

It's time to get fancy, and put on your dancing shoes! Ladies typically wear prom dresses, and gentlemen wear suits or tuxedos. We have additional opportunities to participate in pre-evening extras, like hair and nail services (available for both men and women).

The most important goal of the evening is to make sure each one of our Kings and Queens has the best evening of their lives! Sometimes we need to just take a break from the music and dancing. We have a sensory room for our guests to come and visit, as well as dedicated quiet spaces. It will be a place where you can just sit and rest, take a break, or do a low-key activity with a buddy until the participant is ready to rejoin the party!

Guardians come into the event with you, check you in and will meet your Buddy for the evening. We invite you as parents to enjoy an evening out! It's a great time to connect with each other, other parents, or to take some time to yourself to rest. We will have limited space in a respite room for parents, which is available on the registration. Pickup will be at 8:45pm.

If you have a family member or friend who wants to come and be your guest's buddy for the night, please have them sign up on the volunteer registration. Please note, we have limited space available for guests who are also registering with a companion. We have an incredible volunteer team, and a whole group of wonderful people who have been praying for, and preparing to host each guest, and are ready to party the night away!

Yes. Safety is our top priority, and we will have medical professionals, law enforcement, and a security team on site.

Night to Shine does not cost anything to our guests. It is our privilege and honor to host this event for our Special Needs & Disability Community. Our events are fully funded by donations, sponsorships, and the Front Range Church community. See our donation page if you would like to donate to help support this amazing event.

Part of Night to Shine is offering every single honored guest a friend for the evening (and we hope for life!) A buddy is a volunteer who will be with a guest helping them party the night away. Responsibilities include accompanying and assisting assigned guest throughout the evening, providing companionship and any assistance they may need during the event, sitting with their guest during dinner and engaging with them in conversation.
