Custom Students

Grade 6 - 12

Welcome to Custom Students

Custom Student Ministry

Custom Student Ministry is an excellent environment for students in 6th - 12th grade to develop new friendships with other students, learn from adult leaders who care about them, and ultimately experience God in a whole new way. We believe there is a huge opportunity in the Castle Rock area to see great change in our community and in our schools. This service is a launching point for that change. We would love for you to partner with us as we set out to make a difference in the lives of students in Castle Rock and beyond.

SOAP Bible study method

Need help reading the bible? We can help!

SOAP bible study is simple. Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer.

Scripture: What is the text you are using SOAP for? Grab a page in your notebook and write down the scripture. Don't overcomplicate it, it doesn't need to be a whole passage in the bible. It can simply be one or two verses, whichever verses spoke to you!

Observation: Observe the scripture you wrote down. Write down any observations you took from the text. It can be historical, it can be setting, or it can be analyzing the bigger message of the text.

Application: How does this apply to your life? What are a couple of ways the scriptures can apply to your life? Write those down.

Prayer: How are you going to pray this text in your life?

SOAP is meant to help us study scripture without overcomplicating it.
