21 Day Fast

We are fasting and prayer together for 21 days from January 11th - February 1st. We've got some resources below to help you get started. But first,

Why do we fast?

Fasting is a practice which traditionally involves giving up food for a specific time to pray and be with Jesus. It helps us focus our time, mind, and heart on talking to and hearing from God. Fasting doesn’t always have to be from food, though! Here are some different ways to fast: 

- Don’t engage with social media apps  
- Stop using electronics for a certain amount of time  
- Don’t watch TV or play video games  
- Give up a specific kind of food (like sugar or caffeine)  
- Commit to waking up an hour early every day to spend with Jesus
