Title: Kids Ministry Coordinator
Reports To: Kids Director
Hours: Part-time, 20-25 hours a week, $17-$23/hour
Who Reports To Me: Serve Team Members, Leaders, Coaches
Primary Win: Lead and create an engaging environment for kids to encounter and learn about Jesus and to be seen, known, and loved.
General Description of Role: The Kids Ministry Coordinator will help oversee and produce all aspects of the kid’s environments, including but not limited to curriculum, scheduling, training, and recruiting of team members.
Priority Tasks & Responsibilities
- Oversee all curriculum and resources for kids ages 2 through 6th
- Participate in and assist with executing all Family Ministry events throughout the year.
- Partner with the Family Ministry team (Family Ministry Pastor, Kids Director, and Student Director) to cast vision and provide strategy for the department.
- Lead, schedule, train, coach, and build relationships with serve teams.
- Recruit Serve Team members to ensure adequate weekend coverage.
- Develop relationships with parents and work with the Kids team to create programming, systems, and resources to serve families.
- Provide creative ideas to generate momentum that will excite kids and parents.
- Provide training, encouragement, and support to serve teams through relationship, training, and team building.
- Create a monthly curriculum outline for serve team members, and create additional resources for kids, leaders, or parents as needed to help equip parents to be their child’s primary faith teacher.
- On Sundays, assist with curriculum, check-in, programming needs, serve team onboarding, and execution of special events.
- Purchase, stock, and organize materials, supplies, and toys.
- Assist with design, writing, and publication of materials relating to the Family Ministry
- Participate in all weekly and monthly event planning, team meetings, and training meetings with Front Range staff, Family Ministry, and Kids Ministry.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred experience:
- 3 years serving in kids ministry
- Experience in editing and implementing curriculum
- Experience in leading teams and or individuals
