The Front Range Residency program is a unique opportunity for someone who has been called to full-time vocational ministry. The goal of this program is to provide hands-on experience as a staff member at a rapidly growing church plant in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

As a Front Range Resident, you will choose an area of focus and become fully immersed in what it’s like to be in ministry full time in that position. You will have a one on one relationship with someone in that position, and you will get to learn what it’s like to do that job for a living. You’ll gain valuable wisdom and insider knowledge that can only come from having an experience like this.

This will not be a school or internship program. You will receive training, responsibility and authority that is difficult to find in other settings; an experience we believe will set you up to help plant a church, campus or take your next steps into vocational ministry.

Front Range is looking for people called in these areas:

  • Campus Pastors and Church Plant Lead Pastors
  • Community Groups
  • Family Ministry
  • Worship

  • Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years’ ministry experience in your area of focus OR a higher education at a Christian school or training center. You will be required to submit a resume’ including references from the lead pastor of your current church, a direct supervisor, and a person under you in the ministry area you’re currently serving in.

  • When: July 18th, 2016 to June 31st, 2017

  • Expectations: A minimum of 30 hours per week will be expected of each resident. You will be considered on staff at Front Range Christian Church. You will also be expected to raise at least $20,000 to pay your salary for the year of your residency. Front Range staff will give you ideas and next steps to raise funds, as half of our staff has successfully raised their own salaries since our launch in 2014.

  • What: You will be given leadership experience and training with recruiting, developing and deploying teams. You will have a voice to speak into the ministry at Front Range, and you will have a seat at the table. You will be given practical, hands on experience making services and ministry happen week to week. You will learn how to launch your ministry in a new local expression of the church, either as a campus of Front Range or a new church plant. You will also be able to directly oversee interns at Front Range.
